"account": "Sacha Baron Cohen, aware of the potential for controversy and backlash with his brand of comedy, had planned to incorporate the idea of being canceled into his film Ali G: Who Iz I?. The intention was to use footage of Cohen being canceled in real life within the movie, but financial constraints prevented the execution of this plan. The film sees Cohen reprise his role as the controversial Ali G character, a choice motivated by the current sensitive cultural and political climate. Baron Cohen expressed concern over the direction of society and aimed to explore extremism on both sides of the political spectrum with his comedy. The film was set to release just before the U.S. midterm elections, highlighting the timely nature of the content. Baron Cohen defended Ali G, describing himself as a \"white cultural appropriator\" and emphasizing that everyone is a part of the joke. The actor also highlighted that this would be his most ambitious movie yet, featuring three characters and aiming to deliver something new to the dedicated fan base.",
