"summary": "The Edo State Government has urged residents to remain calm and follow preventive measures after a new Ebola virus case was confirmed in Nigeria, according to Punch and Punch Nigeria.\n\nIn Jigawa State, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) has also called on residents to stay calm and observe necessary preventive measures following reports of a confirmed Ebola case in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. Mallam Ahmed Tijjani Ibrahim, the state director of the NOA, advised against panic and emphasized the need to rely on accurate information from recognized health authorities.\n\nIbrahim stated that public awareness, adherence to health guidelines, and the early reporting of suspected cases are essential to preventing the spread. He advised residents to maintain personal and environmental hygiene, avoid direct contact with the blood or body fluids of suspected infected persons, and cooperate with health officials. He further recommended that individuals report possible exposure immediately and seek guidance from public health authorities before visiting a healthcare facility if symptoms develop.",
