"account": "Manchester United coach Michael Carrick expressed regret for the team's 4-1 defeat to Como in the Champions League, describing the performance as unacceptable. Carrick took full responsibility for the loss, acknowledging it as a new low for the season. \"I care an unbelievable amount about the supporters,\" he said, vowing to apologize for the performance as they traveled to Italy. Carrick walked over to the traveling fans after the match, holding his hands up in recognition of the defeat. United suffered their fifth loss in all competitions this season, extending their winless run to seven games. The coach insisted, \"It was more than disappointing. I think everybody has got to take responsibility for that. I 100% take responsibility for the overall team and the performance — that’s where it stops. It stops with me and I’m absolutely fine with that.\" Carrick's position has come under increasing scrutiny since being given a two-year contract last year. Despite his success as a player, this difficult start to the season has seen United win only once in the league and exit the English League Cup early. Nico Paz scored twice for Como, with Tasos Douvikas and Jacobo Ramon also netting. United's substitute Joshua Zirkzee scored a consolation goal. Carrick expressed his disappointment, stating, \"It was nowhere near good enough in so many ways. We didn’t deserve to get anything from the game.\"",
