NBA insider Shams Charania of ESPN took to ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show to provide the latest update on Haliburton and the Pacers' outlook for the upcoming season. Charania noted that teams across the league are aware of the potent Indiana Pacers team that will be competing, and praised Haliburton for looking \"really good\" during the preseason. Many in the NBA are anticipating a strong return from Haliburton, who was sidelined last season after the devastating injury. With the majority of the same core players from their 2024-25 Finals run in place, including Ivica Zubac in the middle, the Pacers are poised to make a strong comeback in the Eastern Conference. The Pacers and Pelicans are set to face off on Wednesday at 8:00 pm ET from New Orleans.",
