"account": "Manchester United suffered a humiliating 4-1 defeat to debutants Como in the Champions League on Wednesday, deepening their already dire crisis. Nico Paz scored a brilliant double for Como, with Tasos Douvikas and Jacobo Ramon also finding the back of the net. Only a late goal from Joshua Zirkzee prevented United from suffering one of their joint-heaviest defeats in the competition, extending their winless streak to seven games. Manager Michael Carrick faced mounting pressure after a poor run of results, including three draws and three defeats in all competitions, which has seen United's start to the league season become their worst in 40 years. United's lackluster performance against the Italian side, who have climbed from Serie B to Europe's elite club competition over the past three years, will be remembered as one of the greatest results in club history. With both teams facing injury issues, defender Matthijs de Ligt returned to the United side for his first appearance in 11 months, replacing the suspended Leny Yoro. Despite Cesc Fabregas' side's fairytale rise from Serie B to the Champions League, the dismantling of the three-time European champions remains one of the most shocking results in club history.",
