"account": "Titans head coach Robert Saleh detailed the circumstances surrounding the release of defensive tackle Jordan Elliott on Wednesday. Elliott was let go after he went to his car to get a gun following an argument with teammate JC Latham. Defense lineman John Franklin-Myers stepped in to de-escalate the situation. Saleh praised Franklin-Myers for his intervention and commended the team and league for their \"outstanding job\" with a situation where Elliott needed help. Saleh expressed concern for Elliott's well-being, acknowledging the \"terrible lapse in judgment\" that led to his actions as a sign of distress rather than a criminal act. He emphasized the importance of understanding the challenges faced by young athletes and assured that Elliott would receive the necessary support. Saleh stood up for Elliott's character, stating that he had a \"terrible lapse in judgment that I recognize as a call for help more than a criminal act.\" He confirmed that Elliott deserves another chance, despite the rules prohibiting guns on team property. Saleh hinted at a potential belief in a deeper issue but stressed that the incident shouldn't be the end of Elliott's NFL career.",
