"account": "John Daly, the two-time major champion, is set to continue his Masters week tradition in Augusta, Georgia, following the closure of Hooters. Topgolf has announced a multi-year partnership with Daly, which will bring him back to its Augusta location during Masters week in 2027 and 2028. The partnership will expand beyond Georgia, featuring Topgolf venues around the country, branded content, and other experiences.\n\nDaly's connection to Augusta began when Hooters, his longtime host during Masters week, closed. Despite this, Daly quickly found a new home at Top Dawg Tavern, located right across the street from the former Hooters site. Now, Topgolf is joining Daly in Augusta, offering a unique mix of golf, music, food, and drinks.\n\nTopgolf CEO David McKillips praised Daly as a one-of-a-kind icon who disrupts the sport by being true to himself. The partnership includes return of Topgolf Nights, starting October 22, John Daly-branded merchandise, and two ready-to-drink cocktails available at 55 Topgolf locations.\n\nFor Augusta, Topgolf plans to have Daly make appearances at its Augusta location during Masters week in both 2027 and 2028. The details of a new event involving Daly will be announced before the next tournament. In his Masters career, Daly has made 12 appearances, with his best finish being a tie for third place in 1993.",
