"account": "Kenan Thompson has stated that he would engage in a conversation with Shane Gillis if he were to return as host of Saturday Night Live (SNL). This conversation would aim to address Gillis' actions and ensure they do not negatively impact others. The discussion took place during an appearance at Axios' Media Trends Live on Tuesday. Gillis' opening monologue earlier this month, which included comments about women dressing provocatively, drew criticism from several high-profile individuals in Hollywood. Thompson expressed his belief that a conversation with Gillis, akin to speaking with a young person, would be necessary if he returned to the show. He emphasized the need to strike a balance between allowing creative freedom and avoiding harmful language. Thompson also noted that the controversy surrounding Gillis' remarks has overshadowed the performances of other cast members and guests, including newcomers and the musical guest, Rosalía. While Thompson acknowledged he does not have the final say on Gillis' potential return, he reiterated that if he were to return, they would need to have a meaningful discussion about how one's actions affect those around them.",
