"summary": "Anambra Archbishop Valerian Okeke celebrated his 73rd birthday by distributing relief items to inmates at the National Correctional Centre in Onitsha, Anambra State. In his homily, titled 'Necessity of Giving Thanks,' Okeke emphasized the importance of gratitude and thanksgiving to God, describing it as a virtue that makes a person great before God and a source of blessings. The prelate also encouraged inmates to maintain hope and faith in God, viewing their time in the correctional centre as a spiritual retreat to strengthen their faith and potentially save them from worse life conditions. Okeke presented the inmates with food and various relief items, including live cows, bags of rice, toiletries, clothing, detergents, and other materials, while also expressing his hope for the Federal Government's plans to change the Nigerian Prison Service to the Nigerian Correctional Service.",
