"account": "Dubai: Renowned football freestylist Billy Wingrove is on the hunt for a new club in the UAE as his intended move to Desert Falcons FC has fallen through. The 43-year-old, who had agreed to a professional contract with the UAE Third Division side and a player-coach role under Steven Taylor, announced on Instagram that he would not be joining the club. Despite the disappointment, Wingrove expressed determination to continue his professional football journey in the UAE. He clarified that his football aspirations remain intact and he is still training while exploring his next move. He emphasized that his football career is far from over and he is considering various options in the coming weeks. Wingrove, a long-time Tottenham supporter, had a trial with the club's academy as a youngster and signed a professional freestyle contract with Spurs in 2003, reportedly the first of its kind in English football. Known for his football skills, he also played semi-professionally and gained further recognition when he scored during Soccer Aid in 2025, representing the Rest of the World team. The Desert Falcons opportunity had provided Wingrove with a chance to merge his football experience with coaching while progressing his playing career in the UAE. Now that this deal is no longer possible, he is focused on finding another club to continue his playing ambitions and potentially combine them with a coaching role.",
