"account": "Over S$45 million has been earmarked over the next three years to assist Singaporean manufacturers in adopting artificial intelligence (AI), according to Minister of State for Energy, Trade and Industry Gan Siow Huang. The government funding will bolster Enterprise Singapore's (EnterpriseSG) Catalytic AI Solutions initiative for advanced manufacturing, aimed at overcoming common barriers to AI adoption. This initiative will provide SMEs with ready-to-deploy AI solutions for areas such as product design, production scheduling, and predictive maintenance to enhance productivity, optimise efficiency, and strengthen competitiveness. To make AI accessible to SMEs, EnterpriseSG will offer a suite of AI solutions tailored to these businesses. The initiative aims to reduce manual work, improve equipment reliability, and maintain consistent product quality. Some SMEs have already shown interest in adopting AI solutions under the new initiative. The government's push for AI adoption in advanced manufacturing, one of four sectors targeted under its National AI Missions, aims to reimagine manufacturing and grow output and productivity.",
