"account": "US envoy Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump's advisor Jared Kushner are set to present a revised peace proposal to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday, following a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Norway on Tuesday, according to Axios. Witkoff will travel to Russia in person, while Kushner will join the discussion virtually. The talks between Zelensky and Witkoff, described as constructive by a US official, resulted in the presentation of new ideas and proposals. The meeting also involved leaders from Norway, Finland, and representatives from Europe and NATO, who made meaningful progress toward a coordinated approach to engaging Russia. The discussions encompassed key elements of a comprehensive peace framework, such as security guarantees for Ukraine, a post-war economic plan, and a broader European security architecture. Witkoff aims to create a pathway toward direct trilateral and multilateral negotiations, while Kushner reiterated Trump's demand for Ukraine to cease attacks on Russian diesel refineries. Zelensky indicated readiness to halt the strikes if Russia reciprocates, and Trump stated that Russia would like to conclude the talks, expressing doubts about Zelensky's commitment to ending the war.",
