"account": "Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party, PRP, has cautioned President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress, APC, that the North will oppose their vote-buying strategy in the 2027 general elections. Baba-Ahmed made this warning during an interview on Politics Today, a Channels Television programme. He stated that Tinubu and APC supporters are underestimating Northern voters as they prepare for the 2027 polls. Baba-Ahmed questioned how campaign leaders could address Northerners, especially those from Zamfara, Kebbi, Sokoto, Katsina, Borno, Yobe, Kwara, Kaduna, Plateau, Kogi, and Nasarawa States, when they are asking them to vote for Tinubu's re-election. He emphasized that Northerners will not forget the humiliation and neglect they have faced under Tinubu's administration. Baba-Ahmed is confident that they will share money unequally distributed in politics, challenging Tinubu and APC to undermine the North. He warned that the North will not allow anyone to manipulate or overturn the election outcome if Tinubu and APC fail to win the support of Northerners in 2027. Baba-Ahmed challenged Tinubu's supporters to face an open contest if they believe the North will reject them.",
