"account": "Normand Tousignant, a 92-year-old American, has been recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's oldest first-time grandfather. He met his granddaughter, Madison, for the first time on September 22, 2022, when she was born. Tousignant's daughter, Kerry, said that the relationship between her father and granddaughter had \"revitalized\" her father's life. The family moved closer together after news of the record was shared. Tousignant is the only surviving sibling of 17 children in a French-Canadian Catholic family. He grew up in Gardner, Massachusetts, and spent most of his career as a clinical psychologist. The family relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina, to be closer to one another. Tousignant became a \"Pépère\" (French word for grandfather) when Madison was born, forming a bond with her through play and affection. The family applied for the Guinness World Records title after seeing an article about the previous record holder. Kerry hopes that her father will continue spending time with Madison and sharing the family's love of reading.",
