"account": "The Federal Government has disbursed an additional N4.25 billion to settle outstanding pension and severance benefits for 600 former Nigeria Airways Limited employees, according to a statement from the Federal Ministry of Finance. This brings the total number of beneficiaries paid, across 11 batches, to 3,300. The first nine batches covered 2,700 individuals, with the latest payment extending the settlement to the remaining 600 eligible workers. The N4.25 billion payment translates to an average gross benefit of approximately N7.09 million per beneficiary, though actual payments may vary based on individual entitlements. The ministry has not disclosed the cumulative amount paid in previous batches or the total outstanding liability to former Nigeria Airways employees. The disbursement aims to provide financial relief to beneficiaries who have been waiting for their outstanding entitlements arising from their service with the defunct national carrier.",
