"summary": "A Texas couple has been charged in the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Alyssa Wilson, who was on her way to the St. Louis Zoo when she was shot in the back and chest. Willie Herndon, 43, has been charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action, while his wife, Taiya Herndon, 45, has been charged with hindering prosecution. The shooting occurred on Interstate 170, and surveillance video captured a suspect pulling over a white Buick Enclave and firing a gunshot into the rear of Wilson's vehicle. The vehicle then fled the scene, crashing into a concrete median wall, causing Wilson to become incapacitated. She was taken to Barnes-Jewish Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. There is no known relationship between the couple and Wilson, and investigators have declined to share the motivation for the attack.",
