"account": "Bluesound is introducing native Apple Music support as a complimentary software update to their multi-room audio system, effectively challenging Sonos's dominance in this market. This development, announced on 20 October 2026, transforms the Bluesound platform, previously known mainly for its AirPlay compatibility, into a venue where Apple Music can stream directly to the device, without compression, unlike through AirPlay or Bluetooth. This upgrade is set to appeal to Apple enthusiasts by enhancing the audio quality of Bluesound's Node line and Wi-Fi speakers. While the integration of the subscription-based Apple Music service comes at no additional cost, users will need to update their BluOS software to benefit from this feature. The upgrade not only bolsters Bluesound's position but also underscores the competitive edge offered by Bluesound, especially to those valuing the brand's reputation for audiophile-grade audio equipment.",
"summary": "Bluesound has updated BluOS with Apple Music integration. In addition to Bluesound devices, the platform also powers devices by big brands such as DALI and Monitor Audio.",
