"account": "Microsoft is streamlining OneDrive's Copilot features within File Explorer's right-click menu, though the AI assistant remains accessible. The company will eliminate shortcuts for summarizing documents, generating FAQs, comparing files and images, explaining images, extracting text, and posing questions. These changes are slated to commence in mid-November and conclude by early December. The \"Ask Copilot\" option will persist, allowing users to engage in conversation with files or access the Copilot icon in File Explorer's Home. The removed individual actions will still be available in the OneDrive activity center. Microsoft aims to simplify Copilot's usage with OneDrive files in File Explorer, acknowledging that adding numerous options with similar icons made the menu unwieldy. The tech giant plans to adopt a more discerning strategy for deploying its AI assistant across its product line, with Windows boss Pavan Davuluri stating that they intend to reduce unnecessary Copilot entry points. The File Explorer context menu is also being redesigned as part of Microsoft's efforts to declutter and enhance its performance, potentially enabling users to revert to a more simplified interface akin to the one in Windows 10.",
