"account": "Singers Mika Singh, rapper Badshah, and actor-comedian Kapil Sharma have defended Daler Mehndi against allegations of public humiliation after being interrupted during a performance at a cultural event in Uttarakhand. The controversy arose when Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal questioned Mehndi's ability to sing, alleging that he was drunk and unfit to perform at the Siddhpeeth Maa Kunjapuri Tourism and Development Fair. The video of the incident quickly went viral on social media, sparking a backlash from Mehndi's colleagues in the music industry. Mika Singh, Mehndi's brother, challenged the allegations, questioning the basis for accusing the 59-year-old of being intoxicated and suggesting that the singer may have been unwell due to a recent major surgery. Mika went further, stating that his brother had been a superstar for three decades and that the allegations were baseless. He also criticized the manner in which Mehndi was confronted on stage, emphasizing that artists often honor their commitments even when facing personal difficulties. Badshah and Harshdeep Kaur also voiced their support for Mehndi, condemning the public humiliation of a veteran artiste and acknowledging that legends deserve respect and dignity, especially when they are vulnerable.",
