"account": "Google Cloud experienced an outage in its \"europe-west2\" region due to a power event on October 20th. The disruption affected various companies in Western Europe, including Revolut, a leading UK fintech company. Revolut's services, which include ATM withdrawals, card payments, stock trading, ID verification, live chat support, and merchant transactions, were impacted. In a statement, Revolut assured customers that their money and data remained safe while they worked to resolve the issue. The company has approximately 3.4 million customers in Ireland. Other organizations, such as Lloyds Bank, HSBC, Royal Mail, Rightmove, DPD, BT, Cloudflare, Screwfix, and Spotify, also faced service disruptions. This is the second incident for Revolut in a month; earlier, a data breach exposed personal information of around 680 account holders. Revolut discovered that it had unknowingly shared data with a fraudulent party after responding to a phishing email from a government agency domain. The hackers responsible for the breach demanded a ransom of $3m in Monero cryptocurrency.",
