The incident occurred when State Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal confronted Daler on stage, alleging that the singer was intoxicated. Mika shared a video on Instagram, clarifying that Daler does not drink alcohol and that he had recently undergone major surgery. He stated, \"Woh 30 saal se superstar rahe hain, kya zindagi mein aap logon ne unke haath mein sharab ka glass dekha hai?\" questioning the minister's assertion. Mika also expressed disappointment at the way Daler was treated, questioning the minister's decision to make such an accusation without verifying the facts first.
