"account": "CRL Commissioner Dr Rajendra Govender dismissed allegations made in an anonymous social-media video, which accused him of receiving over R1 million annually from the South African government while serving in his role, along with travel perks and connections to India. The video prompted the CRL commission to investigate Govender. However, Govender reported the video to cyber-crimes experts, stating he would seek criminal charges upon investigation's conclusion. He vehemently denied the claims, asserting that his appointment followed a formal process, and that his qualifications and experience were not in question. Govender also refuted allegations that he received numerous free trips to India, suggesting a conflict of interest, as his professional engagements with India were primarily through academic research, cultural diplomacy, and international cooperation.",
