"summary": "The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to re-sign veteran wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling to their practice squad, according to reports from Yahoo Sports. The 31-year-old wideout, who will join the team in a practice squad capacity, was released by the San Diego Chargers over the weekend. During his brief stint with the Steelers last season, Valdes-Scantling contributed with 10 receptions for 80 yards and a touchdown in five games. Prior to his time with the Steelers, Valdes-Scantling played four seasons with the Green Bay Packers under the final season of head coach Mike McCarthy. In his time with Rodgers, Valdes-Scantling amassed 123 receptions for 2,153 yards and 13 touchdowns. The Steelers are currently without three of their top five wide receivers, with Michael Pittman Jr. sidelined with a foot injury until at least Week 10, Roman Wilson dealing with a finger injury until Week 11, and Ben Skowronek managing a calf injury.",
