"summary": "Donald Trump has expressed his backing of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of Israel's October 27 elections. David Makovsky of the Washington Institute stated that the decision contradicts a longstanding US practice of avoiding explicit endorsements. In response, Mark Levin described the complaints regarding the endorsement as a partisan political whine.\n\nUS Senator Bernie Sanders criticized the endorsement in a post on X, stating that Trump and Netanyahu want \"never-ending war in the Middle East\" involving more death, destruction, and genocide. According to Middle East Eye, Sanders called for an end to Republican control of Congress on November 3 and advocated for halting all military aid to Israel.",
