"summary": "President Bola Tinubu has granted 18-month tenure extensions for the Controller-General of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Sylvester Nwakuche, and the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Kemi Nandap. The extensions, approved by the Presidency, will see Nwakuche's tenure end on May 26, 2028, and Nandap's on June 30, 2028. President Tinubu commended both officials for their reforms and charged them to build on their achievements. The extensions aim to address a succession gap in both services and provide time for the board to appoint successors.",
