"account": "Over 400 elite artistic gymnasts from 84 countries will gather in Rotterdam for the 54th World Championships between October 20-25, vying for a coveted spot in the 2028 Olympics. This prestigious event holds extra significance this year, as the top three nations in each team event will secure Olympic berths for the Los Angeles Games. China and Japan's men's teams are favorites, while Great Britain, who retained the European title in August with a flawless performance, could also challenge for a medal. The USA women, who have claimed every team final since 2011, will rely on veteran Skye Blakely, competing in her fourth World Championships. This marks a maiden appearance in senior Worlds for Hezly Rivera and other team-mates, including Olympic team gold medallist.\n\nRussia will participate under neutral status, having won European women's gold previously, but three of their female gymnasts were denied visas to compete in Rotterdam. Great Britain, who finished fourth at the last Olympics and Europeans, are led by multiple major medallist Alice Kinsella, who recently became a mother. Reigning champion Daiki Hashimoto from Japan aims for his fourth consecutive men's all-around title, while Algerian Kaylia Nemour has a historic chance to become the first African winner in women's event. Brazilian Rebeca Andrade, who won gold at the 2024 Olympics, competes at a major global championships for the first time since her four-medal haul.
