"summary": "Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused the United States of deliberately delaying the delivery of interceptor missiles to his country, amid escalating tensions over military aid and intelligence-sharing. The Pentagon claims it is still awaiting approval from US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth to deliver the missiles, which have already been paid for by European countries. Zelenskyy also stated that several European nations are ready to transfer Patriot interceptor missiles from their own stockpiles but are still awaiting US approval. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has denied any involvement in the delay and defended a recent diesel supply deal with Russia, while criticizing Zelenskyy as a warmonger. Zelenskyy's claims of delayed missile deliveries come amid a series of Russian missile strikes on Ukrainian energy facilities and infrastructure, which have left over 500,000 people without power.",
