"summary": "President Bola Tinubu has approved tenures for the Controller-General of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Sylvester Nwakuche, and the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Kemi Nandap, extending their respective tenures by 18 months. Nwakuche's tenure will now end on May 26, 2028, while Nandap's will conclude on June 30, 2028. The President's Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, outlined the approval, which followed a recommendation by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. The decision aims to address a succession gap in both services and provide time for the board to appoint their successors.",
