"account": "Tottenham Hotspur secured their first Premier League win of the season with a 3-1 victory over Coventry City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday. James Maddison, returning to the starting lineup after 17 months away due to a knee injury, scored the opening goal in the 14th minute with a remarkable strike from outside the penalty area. England midfielder Maddison, who had only played briefly since suffering two serious knee injuries in May 2025, put his side ahead after Mohammed Kudus's assist. Coventry managed to level early in the second half, but Omar Marmoush restored Tottenham's lead shortly before the hour mark. Substitute Ben Davies sealed the victory late in the game. The win came after Tottenham's team, managed by Roberto De Zerbi, spent the summer in training in Marbella, Spain, in an effort to reignite their campaign. The match saw the return to the matchday squad for Sweden midfielder Dejan Kulusevski after 17 months, along with the re-introduction of Tottenham veteran Ben Davies.",
