"account": "Saudi citizens are eligible to renew their passports online through the Absher platform, as long as six months remain on their current passport, according to the Passports Directorate. The General Directorate of Passports has confirmed that the renewal process can be completed electronically via the Ministry of Interior's Absher system, provided the individual meets the required six-month minimum on their existing passport. The authority emphasized the importance of adhering to all renewal requirements and conditions for both the applicant's own passport and any passports belonging to their family members. Additionally, the Passports Directorate stated that a passport can be utilized for travel to Arab countries up to three months prior to its expiration date, while travel to other countries is permissible up to six months before the passport's expiry. The authority clarified that the family registry card is not regarded as a valid travel document, and that the digital national ID accessible on both Absher and Tawakkalna platforms does not grant its holder the right to travel outside the Kingdom. Furthermore, the General Directorate of Passports underscored the necessity of possessing a valid passport or national ID when venturing to Gulf Cooperation Council countries, in order to ensure compliance with travel regulations and prevent any complications during the journey.",
