"account": "At around 7 p.m. on October 19, a shooting occurred at a recruitment center in Kyiv's Pechersk district, injuring three police officers and three military personnel, according to local authorities. The incident took place at a Territorial Recruitment Center (TCC) where a man suspected of draft evasion had been brought by police. The man then opened fire on the police and service members, wounding them before being detained. All victims were taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. This shooting is the latest in a series of violent incidents amid Ukraine's deepening mobilization crisis, with forced mobilization a major source of social and political tension in the country. Since Russia's full-scale invasion began in February 2022, dozens of attacks on enlistment officers have occurred across Ukraine, with the number of incidents rising in 2026.",
"summary": "Three military personnel and three personnel were injured and are receiving treatment. The gunman has been detained and investigation is underway.",
