"account": "Former President Thabo Mbeki has dismissed claims that he secretly met with former President FW de Klerk and generals of the South African Defence Force (SADF) in an attempt to help them avoid prosecution for their actions during the apartheid era. This denial came during his testimony before the Khampepe Commission of Inquiry, which is investigating allegations of political interference in the prosecution of apartheid-era crimes.\n\nMeanwhile, National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola, on her first day back in her position, called for an end to divisions, mistrust, and internal battles within the South African Police Service (SAPS) to effectively combat crime and rebuild public trust. Masemola's suspension was lifted after charges against him were withdrawn.\n\nSupermodel Candice Swanepoel showcased her enduring presence at the 14th Victoria's Secret show, celebrating her 20th anniversary since her debut. The event, worth $10 million, highlighted her continued influence in the fashion industry.",
