"summary": "Former Senate Leader Ali Ndume has stated that his entry into politics was not motivated by personal enrichment but rather a desire to serve the people. During a visit to the Shani community in Borno State, Ndume urged politicians to prioritize the needs of their constituents over personal interests, expressing concern over politicians using young people to advance their political ambitions. The Shani community, in appreciation for his efforts, pledged support for his re-election and highlighted his legislative achievements, including the establishment of a Federal College of Agriculture in Shani and securing presidential approval for erosion-control projects worth N66bn across Southern Borno.",
