"account": "A US Air Force member, Sgt Ian Patterson, tragically died while abseiling from the ceiling of San Antonio's Alamodome ahead of a college football game on Saturday. Footage captured the 15-year veteran falling feet-first to the turf midway after his descent went awry, resulting in fatal injuries. Patterson, serving as a Tactical Air Control Party instructor at Joint Base San Antonio, passed away at a hospital. The incident is currently under investigation. The football match between the University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners and the Naval Academy Midshipmen proceeded as scheduled after the unfortunate event.\n\nThe American Conference, representing the collegiate athletic association, expressed profound condolences to Patterson's family, friends, and teammates, emphasizing the significance of his role within the 57th Wing. Brig Gen Scott Mills, a US Air Force officer based at Nellis Air Force Base, conveyed deep sorrow over the loss, highlighting Patterson's immense contribution to the wing. The 57th Wing's president, Taylor Eighmy, also conveyed heartfelt sympathy to Patterson's loved ones, as well as to those affected by the devastating tragedy.",
