"account": "Thierry Henry and Kate Scott have been announced as the hosts for the 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony, marking its 70th anniversary. The event, to take place on October 26 at the London Palladium, will celebrate the world's elite football talent. Henry, a legendary French footballer who won the World Cup in 1998 and was a 2003 Ballon d’Or runner-up, will co-host the evening with Scott. The British journalist is known for her work on CBS Sports in the US, where she co-hosts Champions League evening shows alongside Henry and former England internationals Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher. This year's ceremony will mark a significant milestone, as it is being held in London for the first time since 2019, celebrating the 70th anniversary of the award. The venue was chosen to honor Sir Stanley Matthews, the inaugural Ballon d’Or winner in 1956.",
