"summary": "Saudi Arabia's newly appointed ambassador to Pakistan, Dr Rajeh Tami Albugamy, met with the Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir to discuss regional security and defence cooperation. The meeting took place at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi and both sides expressed satisfaction over the progress made under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement. Field Marshal Munir congratulated Albugamy on his appointment and expressed confidence that his tenure would further strengthen the longstanding ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The meeting comes in light of Pakistan's commitment to the safety of Saudi Arabia's holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, which are considered paramount and non-negotiable.",
