"account": "The iPhone Duo, Apple's first folding phone, has quickly become an in-demand product following its launch. Buyers around the world report sold out models and delayed shipping times, with Apple's pre-order option extending to January. While some fortunate customers may have been able to pick up the phone at an Apple Store on launch day, the majority seem to be facing significant delays.\n\nAs of October 23, it's unclear whether there will be any unallocated stock available for customers who didn't pre-order. Some Apple staff sources indicate that customers without pre-orders should not expect to find iPhones at Apple Stores on October 23. However, it's possible to queue at a store in person, as historically some units have been allocated for walk-ins.\n\nOnline shoppers who have a pre-order on file can expect to check for availability the following day, October 24. According to Apple Rumors expert Mark Gurman, the launch appears to have been plagued by constrained supply, with production yields reportedly only around 60% in mid-September. This has led to a significant shortfall compared to Apple's expectations.\n\nSome Apple Store locations may have more accurate information about their iPhone Duo stock, as the company's official inventory status is still unknown. However, many retailers report being unsure of their allocation numbers until next Friday. So, while it remains possible that some iPhone Duos may become available for purchase after the initial launch day, it's difficult to predict with certainty at this point.",
