"account": "Vince Zampella, co-creator of Call of Duty and co-founder of Respawn Entertainment, passed away in a car accident in December last year. His legacy as one of the pioneers of first-person shooters and a transformative figure in video games is being honored by Infinity Ward, his former studio, in the credits of Modern Warfare 4, the latest installment in the series that he spearheaded almost two decades ago in 2007. The credits of Modern Warfare 4 pay tribute to Zampella by listing his name first among those who have passed away during the game's development, alongside Rainer Yang, Matt Canale, and Preetam Raj Bordoloi. Zampella's influence on the franchise was immense, steering it from a fledgling series under EA to the powerhouse it is today. He left an indelible mark on the gaming industry, most notably through Modern Warfare 4, a campaign that is widely regarded as one of the finest in the series, and which revolutionized online multiplayer shooters. Fans have been quick to praise this entry, with even the game's Captain Price paying tribute to Zampella and his team. It is fitting that Zampella's legacy is celebrated in Modern Warfare 4, which stands as one of the strongest titles in the series in recent years.",
