"account": "A recent Kickstarter success has resulted in the release of the Retro Ambient Audio System (RAAS), an innovative wall-mounted turntable, CD-player and cassette system that caters to retro music enthusiasts living in compact living spaces. Created by Trettitre, the system combines several retro physical media sources in a fun, wall-mounted configuration with multiple extra novelties.\n\nThe RAAS was able to raise over $2 million, far surpassing its initial goal of $3,000 in just 15 days of funding. Pledgers can still secure the complete bundle for $399 or a corresponding conversion in their currency, which is roughly £300 or AU$600. The MSRP of the device is $899, making this offer a significant discount.\n\nThe RAAS comprises a record player, CD player, and cassette player, all designed to be wall-mounted and even have built-in batteries to enable portability. Users can remove the record player from the wall, carry it with a handle, and plug in IEMs for a portable listening experience. The system also features colorful, lit buttons and light-up panels, adding a unique aesthetic appeal to the device.\n\nWhile the RAAS might not appeal to die-hard audiophiles due to its unconventional design, it offers flexibility for music fans who prefer physical media. It supports CD, CD-R, CD-RW, and cassette formats, with each component featuring a 3.5mm jack, making them compatible with Bluetooth speakers. However, it's worth noting that the device is not a complete solution, as the speakers are sold separately.\n\nThe RAAS is an attractive and quirky addition to the world of retro audio systems, but only time will tell if it will find its niche among music lovers. So, potential buyers should await user reviews before making a purchase decision.",
