"account": "MACAU, October 19 — The Macau fitness group known as the Hyrox Association of Macau has come under scrutiny for its unauthorised use of the globally recognized Hyrox name and trademark. Despite this, the group has proceeded with plans for a February 2027 event that closely mimics the real Hyrox competition. Local fitness enthusiasts have raised concerns, questioning the group's legitimacy. Gary Wan, Hyrox's Asia-Pacific managing director, has directed the Macau organization to cease usage of the Hyrox name and branding. The association, while claiming legal registration, has clarified that it has no affiliation with any authorized or recognised Hyrox organisations. The proposed event, scheduled for February 20 and 21, 2027, at the Galaxy International Convention Centre, will feature an 8km run and eight functional workout stations, almost strikingly similar to the Hyrox format. The association's president, Jofe Tam, announced this plan during a launch dinner last week. The race will also offer prize money for both elite and team divisions. Hyrox has not commented on the situation, and the Macau government has yet to respond to inquiries.",
