"account": "On Saturday, all 242 Malaysian MARA scholarship students in France were reported to be safe following a wave of protests and riots across the country, according to their representative Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki. Asyraf advised the students to remain vigilant and avoid areas affected by the unrest. \"Alhamdulillah, status 242 pelajar tajaan Mara di Perancis selamat,\" he stated on Facebook. The protests and riots reportedly occurred across several European countries since September, before reaching a peak in major cities including Paris and Milan, Italy, on Saturday. Such protests were sparked by grievances related to the welfare of students, deteriorating public services, and rising living costs. In France, the demonstrations led to some of the worst urban violence in years, with nearly 2,400 individuals detained and around 1,000 police and security personnel injured, including seven critically.",
