"account": "Anil Pandit, a man with no prior criminal history until 2023, is now a suspect in over a dozen extortion cases in Haryana. He is believed to have left India around the same time and is currently operating from California. Police allege that Pandit, in his early 30s, played a role in coordinating criminal activities for the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, including threatening celebrities and businessmen with extortion demands. The incident involving actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai's Juhu on Sunday evening is one such case, where Pandit claimed responsibility for firing at Shroff's car, injuring his driver and a fan. Pandit and his associate, Harman Sandhu, have been linked to several other attacks on celebrities and businessmen in India. Pandit is also suspected to have been involved in the June 2026 shooting outside a gym owned by Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa in Delhi. He has been arrested in connection with these crimes, and a non-bailable warrant has been issued against him.",
