"account": "Former U.S. President Barack Obama has accused President Donald Trump's administration of targeting Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar because of her political criticisms, describing it as an attack on American democracy. Obama argued that the government should not target individuals based on their political beliefs or statements, emphasizing that the administration's actions against Omar violated a fundamental principle of American democracy. He explained Omar's history, noting she arrived in the U.S. at 12, her father became a naturalized citizen five years later, and Omar became a naturalized citizen at 17. Obama stated that Omar's role as a fierce critic of the Trump administration made her a frequent target. The former president alleged that the administration tried to deport Omar based on an unsubstantiated claim about her citizenship status. He warned that this could set a dangerous precedent for future administrations to target political opponents.",
