"summary": "Police in Kisii County, Kenya, have destroyed 6,510 litres of kangara, a potent illicit alcohol, following a raid on an illegal brewing den in Riana Ward. Conducted by officers from Kerina Police Station on Saturday, October 17, 2026, the operation dismantled brewing equipment and targeted a notorious illicit alcohol brewing network operating in the area. The National Police Service has reiterated its commitment to intensifying operations against illicit brews and narcotics across the country, as part of ongoing efforts to disrupt the production and distribution of illegal alcoholic drinks.",
