"account": "South African Football Association (SAFA) president Danny Jordaan has appointed Doctor Khumalo to a new role within the organization's technical leadership after the recent presidential elections. Khumalo joined the technical committee as a deputy to chairperson Jack Maluleke during the conclusion of SAFA's three-day national executive committee meeting in Sandton. The meeting also saw the confirmation of Linda Zwane, Anastasia \"Natasha\" Tsichlas, and Tankiso Modipa as SAFA's vice-presidents, reshaping the leadership structure under Jordaan's fourth term. Zwane and Tsichlas retained their positions, while Modipa replaced Bennett Bailey, former chairperson of the SAFA Cape Town region, in a shift that introduced a new figure to the association's top leadership. Jordaan, who defeated AmaZulu owner Sandile Zungu in the elective congress in Midrand, revealed that the vice-presidents were chosen through an open ballot, emphasizing transparency and commitment to the SAFA's decision-making process. With Vision 2030 as the primary goal for the new leadership team, the vice-presidents are expected to collaborate with CEO Lydia Monyepao to develop the association's plans, focusing on schools, football development, and the excellence of national teams. The appointments also hold significance in light of the recent presidential contest, as Modipa chairs the Football Transformation Forum, a group that supported Jordaan's re-election, while Bailey backed Zungu's challenge.",
