"account": "Saptak Talwar secured the DP World PGTI Order of Merit champion title for 2026 after accumulating INR 1,02,47,684 in earnings for the season. The 27-year-old Indian golfer, representing Jaypee Greens Golf & Spa Resort in Greater Noida, secured the top spot in the Race to DP World India Championship by a substantial margin. Consequently, Talwar earned his invitation to participate in the 2027 DP World Tour season.\n\nTalwar's victory came after securing a tied 55th place at the season-ending DP World India Championship held at Delhi Golf Club, where his total score amounted to one-under 287. During the 2026 DP World PGTI season, he achieved several notable accomplishments, including winning the Indorama Ventures Open and finishing tied second at the DP World PGTI Open, which is a co-sanctioned event by the HotelPlanner Tour and DP World PGTI. Additionally, he posted six other top-10 finishes throughout the 2026 season.\n\nKhalin Joshi, a four-time winner on the DP World PGTI in 2026, claimed the second position on the merit list with earnings of INR 77,32,225. Talwar reflected on his past year, stating, \"It's been a consistent year, and I've grown a lot as a golfer. Much of that has come from moving between the DP World PGTI and the HotelPlanner Tour.\" He acknowledged that his experiences from playing across the country have helped him develop as a player and prepare for future challenges.\n\nTalwar expressed his appreciation for the growing strength of the DP World PGTI, citing Khalin Joshi's four-time victory along with other multiple winners as an encouraging factor for the entire field. He added, \"When you compete overseas, you don't want to be surprised by the standard. You have to keep improving. This isn't the final destination; you need to keep growing.\"\n\nLooking ahead to the upcoming season, Talwar anticipated the challenge of playing in Europe's tougher conditions. He explained that playing in such demanding environments helps keep him present and focused, as opposed to calmer weather that can cause his mind to wander. He also discussed the importance of learning from fellow players who had experienced similar conditions, such as Veer and Shubhankar.\n\nTalwar shared his gratitude for his family's support during his journey, both on and off the golf course. He mentioned that his family, consisting of his mother, father, and sister, have been his constant support system throughout the year, and he is thankful for their presence at the Delhi Golf Club event.",
