"account": "Vice-Presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has firmly ruled out withdrawing from the 2027 presidential race, rejecting the possibility of joining forces with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) or any other political party. Kwankwaso, who is running alongside former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, expressed his commitment to contesting the election alongside Obi, stating that his ticket would not surrender its candidacy to another party. The NDC leader dismissed speculation of a possible last-minute deal with the ADC, accusing the ADC Presidential Campaign Council of attempting to distract from the credentials and policy alternatives presented by his ticket. Kwankwaso criticized unnecessary attacks by the ADC on him, Obi, and the NDC, urging opposition parties to focus on presenting their candidates' qualifications and policy alternatives to Nigerians. He emphasized that the NDC will not collaborate with the APC or enter into an arrangement to withdraw its presidential ticket for the ADC, reaffirming their confidence in their capacity, competence, and readiness to lead Nigeria.",
