"summary": "EU liberal chief Valérie Hayer urges conservatives to shun far-right groups ahead of the 2029 European Parliament election, emphasizing the importance of a centrist alliance to deliver an ambitious and stronger Europe for citizens. Hayer argues that the European People's Party (EPP), the largest group in the Parliament, has passed legislation with right-wing and far-right groups, angering its traditional liberal and social democratic allies. She calls for a detailed coalition agreement to lock in a majority and prevent the EPP from negotiating with far-right groups, which could force the conservatives to the negotiating table.",
