"account": "CARY, N.C. (AP) — Vijay Singh claimed victory at age 63 in the SAS Championship, becoming the second-oldest player to win on the PGA Tour Champions. The 63-year-old Fijian birdied four consecutive holes around the turn to take the lead, ultimately closing with six straight pars for a two-shot margin over Ernie Els. Singh, a 34-time winner on the PGA Tour, secured his sixth Champions Tour title and first in over three years. Bernhard Langer is the only other player older than Singh to triumph on the 50-and-older circuit, with five titles at 64 or older. Singh acknowledged the challenge, noting a tough year and back issues, but credited his performance for the win. Els finished tied for second, while Tim O’Neal had a disastrous final round, ending with a double bogey-bogey on the 17th hole. Matthew Goggin was the only player to advance to the Charles Schwab Cup postseason following the event.",
