"account": "Jaime Pressly, a cast member of the CBS sitcom \"Mom,\" has responded to co-creator Chuck Lorre's criticism of his reluctance to hire actress Anna Faris. In an interview with E! News, Pressly reflected on her seven-year tenure on the show, describing her time as \"wonderful\" and working with a \"beautifully flawed\" cast and crew. Although Pressly didn't directly address Lorre, her comments came in the wake of his recent harsh remarks about his reluctance to cast Faris in the series.\n\nMom aired from 2013 to 2021, focusing on a single mother, Christy Plunkett (played by Faris), who struggled with sobriety while balancing her life with her mother, Bonnie Plunkett (played by Allison Janney). Pressly joined the series in season two as Jill Kendall, a wealthy socialite who became a part of Christy's journey towards sobriety. The show earned critical acclaim for Faris and Janney's performances, and for its storytelling.\n\nIn his memoir, Sitcom, Lorre expressed his doubts about Faris being the right fit for the show, citing her personal life. His reservations were later confirmed when Faris left the show after seven seasons, a departure that she later described as \"complicated.\" Lorre's comments on the matter have come under scrutiny, with Pressly painting her experience on the show in a more positive light, emphasizing the camaraderie and enjoyment of working on the CBS sitcom with her \"girlfriends.\"",
